FDn to EF conversion plates are now electroless nickel plated.
That’s right the FDn to EF conversion plates are now electroless nickel plated. Besides looking good they are now stronger, and easier to mount. The problem with some materials is that the rotation action required to mount the lens on the camera, causes friction. The amount friction is influenced by several factors, one being the material type. The electroless nickel plating reduces surface friction allowing for the mount glide across the body mounting plate. Our new plated conversion plates have a similar feel to the original Canon EF lenses.
