Please be aware that FD breech lock Canon series lenses vary in design and as a result some FD lenses using our FDtoEF conversion may need calibration in order to achieve infinity focus. Without a post conversion calibration, we cannot guarantee that all FD lenses will reach infinity focus without some adjustment being made. There are physical limits to any conversion system enabling infinity focus with these older lenses. As a result, design tradeoffs are made to maintain product quality, function and the ability to achieve infinity focus. The infinity focus limitation is more apparent when shooting wide open.
